I wake up with a smile in my face. I wake up in Atzaro Hotel, the most elegant hotel in the island of Ibiza. This is the day that I would walk in the aisle to tie myself with the man I love. My dream of getting married in a white-washed Church on a hill top is now coming true here in Ibiza.

The preparations were all taken cared off as I hired the best coordinators in Ibiza. The hassle of preparations was taken off my hands. As they prepared everything for me. All the desires of my heart were indeed given. The food, reception, hotels reservations, church ceremonies are all taken cared off. Now is the day I would say “I do”.

Ooops! The mighty hurray of my friends wake me up from my day dreaming. I am Zamantha. A thirty year old single Spanish translator from Britain. I am invited by a friend who will get married with a handsome and romantic Spaniard. Right now, I am sitting in Atzaro Hotel located in Ibiza Balearic Island, Spain- while witnessing the happy banter of my friends as the newly wed couple Mayraflor and Bryan made their way to the table.

I could not ask for more. I had witnessed a very perfect wedding in the history of my friends here in Ibiza. We flew over from Britain four days ago with the series of partying every night. The hen and stag party was great. So, we had surveyed the bars and the hotels all over Ibiza. Wheeew! What a great wedding! As they say weddings are made perfect by the little bloopers along the way. Well, definitely my friend wedding has a few to mention that gave us some mirthful laughs and smile. Yet, this made the wedding more perfect for the couple.

I never see myself getting married somewhere else but here in Ibiza. I know that my friend had prepared their wedding for twelve months for the preparation alone. So, couples who wanted to marry here in Ibiza should consider the time range for legal preparations like the papers required to get married. Even though Spain is a liberated country which allowed same sex marriage, they are also particular with the legal papers.
