Ibiza Hotels

IBIZA is a major tourist destination in the world. It is one of the Balearic islands off the Mediterranean coast and is under Spain. For many, Ibiza is associated with parties till dawn with hundreds of girls in thong at the beaches. For the natives, however, Ibiza is considered a sacred place where rubbish is tolerated only where it belongs – the trash bin. Ibiza is considered a UN World Heritage Site and strict anti-littering laws are implemented there. This means you can’t drive your off-road vehicles in paved areas, etc. For the nudists, Ibiza is considered a haven since many skinny dippers abound naturists-only beaches. So you have to be a nudist before entering any of its beaches.

If you want to vacation in Ibiza for a week, you can start by logging in Expedia and inspect of available rooms during your intended period of stay. Be sure to book at least two weeks’ notice because hotels are always filled in anywhere in Ibiza. Hotels range from the most economical to the five-star ones. This I can assure you though. Since Ibiza is a tourist destination, even its cheapest hotel is tourist-friendly. That means all hotels in Ibiza provide excellent service.

The newest five-star hotel to open in Ibiza is the Insotel Fenicia Prestige Thalasso Spa. Located near the opening of the Santa Eulalia river, it’s got a total of 172 rooms all in all and it’s located in the most reputable beach area in the island. Mind you, all these 172 suites are booked any day of the year, even during the winter. Ibiza is the alternative tropics to northern Europeans who can’t endure the heat in the real tropical islands like Boracay in the Philippines.

If you want to stay at a beach hotel, then there’s one that I can recommend – Hotel Sol Ibiza. This hotel has a natural touch to it since it’s surrounded with a forest on one side and gardens on the other. It’s got as many as 275 rooms and again, these are always filled throughout the year. During winter time, you don’t want to use the air conditioning unit in your room but then again, there’s always a central heating system which you can adjust with just a touch of your remote. There’s one thing lacking in this hotel though. It doesn’t have any babysitting services so the clients in these hotel are either businessmen or couples who leave their children back home and are spending their second honeymoon.

If you’re frugal, then you can always settle down in the more than 300 hostels although like the cases above, these are also filled everyday especially in the peak tourist season of August. Although relatively smaller in size, these hotels do have their websites and rooms of some of them can be reserved either through Expedia or Travelocity. One of these is the La Perla AP Residence, also located in Santa Eulalia del Rio. You can stay in this hotel for only $107.72. And take a read on this – Even though La Perla AP Residence is a one-star hotel by international standards, it’s got 80 rooms all in all and you’re served with free breakfast every morning of your stay. Awright!
