FINDING A PLACE TO STAY
Ibiza is a very popular tourist spot and the people are very accommodating. There are many hotels that you can stay in while on vacation here. Of course, if you would like to get the best rooms, the sooner you make your reservation, the better.
Hotels range from 5 star hotels to 2 star hotels or hostels. There will definitely be a place that suits your budget, no matter what your budget is.
The tourist season is mainly in the summer. Most hotels are only open from May to October. A few are available from May to November. Only a few are open beyond this summer period. Most close for the winter. Don’t despair though. Should you choose to winter in Ibiza, there will still be a place to stay.

Having a great hotel in Ibiza is important. Aside from the fact that you will need a roof over your head at night, there are many other factors to consider that will make or break your vacation.
First thing to consider is the quality of the accommodation. This will be your home away from home. There is no reason why the bed has to be uncomfortable just because you are on an island.
With the modern times the facilities of your hotel should be as comfortable as possible. Even the most rustic settings nowadays have good beds and decent bathrooms.
Housekeeping services is of prime importance. A great hotel regularly cleans the rooms. They make sure to replace the soiled linens without your having to ask. The room should look, smell and feel clean at all times even if your room is practically on the beach.
Security is critical. Just imagine, you leave all your worldly possessions in your room while you go off and experience Ibiza. The last thing you want is to come back to a room that has been ransacked and with your money gone.
Room service is always a great service to have. Sometimes you get hungry and you are just too lazy to go hunting for a great place to eat, such as when you’re on your honeymoon. This is definitely a mark of a great hotel.
Access to the various places of interest is also a plus. Though there is a certain beauty in being isolated from the rest of the world, in a place like Ibiza it is definitely a great idea to stay in a hotel that isn’t too far from where the action is.
Built in facilities are a must for those who want to appreciate Ibiza from their little corner of the world. Old town is nice and the beaches are great but sometimes people just want to relax by the pool and laze the day away without having to walk or drive far.
The most important element of a good hotel though isn’t something you can quantify. It’s in the service. Look for a hotel where the service is excellent because the people are helpful and accommodating. That will make your stay far better simply because the people behind the scenes are actually what makes a great vacation.
